Our oil and water based products both work well for people who have chronic yeast infections. Some customers are concerned with oil based lubes, but our Coconu Oil Based Lubricant is all-natural and has antioxidants and healthy fats to kill bacteria. The lubricants to be concerned about for yeast infections are ones that contain glycerin, a lipid form of sugar which can lead to yeast infections.

Store all Coconu products at room temperature. Because of the natural properties of coconut oil, the Coconu Oil Based Lubricant and the Hemp Infused Body Oil may harden a bit if they get too cold. But they can be warmed up just as easily, just massage it lightly with your hand or run the tube under warm water (make sure the lid is closed tightly).

Coconu lubricants have a shelf life of 1 year, unopened. Just make sure to store it at room temperature. Our lubricants are made with all-natural ingredients and no harmful preservatives, so we recommend reordering a fresh supply within 6 months of opening.

Our products do not have an expiration date printed on the packaging, but they have a shelf life of one year if unopened. Once opened, we recommend refreshing your supply every six months for optimal freshness. However, this is not a requirement, our lubricants remain safe to use beyond this timeframe.

Over time, you may notice a slight darkening or color change, especially with our water based formula. This is a natural reaction to oxygen exposure and does not affect the product's effectiveness or safety. As long as the product still feels and smells as expected, it is good to use.

Our Coconu personal lubricants do not have any added fragrance. Generally our customers do not notice any scent at all, however if you are especially sensitive to smells you may pick up on the coconut water in our water based lubricant or the beeswax in our oil based lubricant, etc.

Our water based lubricant has a pH range of 4.5–5, ensuring it's gentle and compatible with the body's natural chemistry.

Our Coconu Oil Based lubricant does not have a pH measurement because pH is a measurement of water based solutions and therefore not applicable to oil based solutions. However, rest assured that our Coconu Oil Based lubricant is designed to be naturally harmonious with your intimate skin.

The Coconu Oil Based Lubricant provides superior moisture and absorbs into skin, so cleanup is generally minimal. If it finds its way to your sheets, wet the spot well with water and gently rub a teaspoon of a grease-cutting dish soap, like Dawn, directly on the spot. Let sit for about 30 minutes, then wash with a gentle detergent in warm water. If you find that staining is an issue, consider laying down a towel. We recommend our Coconu Play Towel.

Our Coconu Water Based personal lubricant is made with organic coconut water, which can acquire a bronze tint when exposed to oxygen (especially around the lid within 4–6 months of opening). However, this in no way affects its effectiveness or safety and it shouldn't leave a stain. We recommend reordering a fresh supply within six months of opening.

Yes! It is safe for internal and external use, but it is not compatible with latex condoms. If you use latex condoms, opt for the Water Based Lubricant.
